Lakes of the Four Seasons Crown Point, Indiana Awards for 2009
[Contact Us] [Office Hours] [Departments] [Search] Employee(s) of the Year Again this year we would like to recognize two outstanding employees. All of the employees of LOFS demonstrate their dedication and hard work on a day to day basis. We do have many people who take that extra step and go the extra mile and each year the Department Managers and I go through the difficult task of picking an employee of the year. Our first employee of the year works in the Golf Maintenance Department. He
has been with Lakes of the Four Seasons just over three years. This employee has
shown excellent dedication and enthusiasm for the golf course. He was hired in
as a laborer in 2006 and quickly moved up to the mechanics position. The last
two years he has been the mechanic and the assistant superintendent. His duties
include maintaining and fixing all the equipment and training employees on how
to operate the equipment in a safe manner. Without his talents and hard work the
golf course wouldn’t look as good as it does. Our next employee of the year works for the Food and Beverage Department. He has been with Lakes of the Four Seasons a little over a year and a half. He has improved the quality of food and service at the 19th Hole Restaurant in a very limited time; it shows by the amount of seats that have been filled. He has proven to be reliable and has also demonstrated outstanding dedication and takes great pride in his work, he is not afraid to try new things. Our next employee of the year goes to Bob Gibson.
Volunteer of the Year Choosing a volunteer of the year is one of the toughest tasks to do each year for the Annual Meeting. Lakes of the Four Seasons is blessed with many residents who care and work hard for their community. Property Owners Associations rely on volunteers to do many tasks and to improve and maintain the community. This person has donated time and money towards the beautification of the Clubhouse Patio. She purchased decorative urns and pots and several plants and flowers and along with her daughter planted them throughout the season. Initially she purchased these items in memory of her late husband, but without realizing, it was improving the view that patrons of the Clubhouse had when they came for dinner or during a banquet. The volunteer of the year this year has been a LOFS resident since 1974. In checking our records I found her & her husband were approved for membership on January 7th, 1974. Our volunteer of the year award this year goes to Joyce Staudohar.
