Janet Allen Foundation Scholarship Winner
Curtain of Lakes of the Four Seasons has been selected as the winner of the
2019 Janet Allen Foundation Scholarship.
In his essay on “How the Game of Golf and its Lessons have Impacted My
Life”, we learn that Joe was signed up for the LOFS Junior Golf program by his
grandmother at the age of nine. It was
there that his golf instructors not only helped with his game but inspired him
to believe in himself and now he will be working towards a career so he can
teach and inspire young kids. Joe has
learned that golf is not only a game of lasting friendships, but it teaches you
to be prepared in every aspect of your life.
He is a 2019 graduate of Andrean High School and is currently enrolled
at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois. He will be playing NAIA college golf for the
Trolls and studying business management.
His hopes are to become a teaching professional. On behalf of the Janet Allen Foundation,
congratulations and best of luck Joe!
